The chicken breast fillets are an extremely versatile cut of chicken. It’s uses are only limited to your imagination and range from quick mid-week meals through to entertaining with friends.

Here are just some of the different ways you can cook chicken breast:

Pan-seared – Cooking a skinless chicken breast in a hot cast iron pan is by far the easiest and most tasty way to cook the breast. Heat a little oil and cook the chicken breast for about 5-7 minutes per side.

Oven Bake – A medium chicken breast will take 16-20 minutes to bake at 200C. Don’t forget to let it rest before consuming. You can also cover with a piece of baking paper to ensure the meat doesn’t dry out.

Air Fry – Preheat your air fryer to 190°C, season the chicken, and cook for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

BBQ – Preheat your BBQ, season the chicken breast, and cook it over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness.

Poaching – Place the chicken breasts in a pot of simmering (not boiling) water, broth, or a seasoned liquid, and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Marinated – Seal the chicken in your marinade for two to three hours minimum. However, overnight is ideal.
